Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors per site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; escalate as needed to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, common areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.
• Document incidents and daily activities professionally with management and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents and daily activities accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
