Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Judicial Screening in West Palm Beach, FL. This role offers reliable hours with the option to pick up extra shifts, at a pay rate of $19.85 per hour.

The schedule is DayTime Fri 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM, with a six-month anchor shift at a designated site. Responsibilities include screening visitors, enforcing post orders, incident response, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years combined law enforcement, corrections, military, and/or 7 years of security experience (or a college degree).
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Background check and drug screen as required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, law enforcement personnel, and the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures at a government facility.
• Screen individuals and belongings using screening equipment and procedures, escalating prohibited items or access concerns as needed.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access according to post orders and facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner following procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports; conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and perimeters.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Judicial Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, law enforcement personnel, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies at a government facility.
• Screen individuals and belongings using designated screening equipment and established procedures, escalating prohibited items, access concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access in accordance with post orders and facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas and surrounding perimeter as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, military, and/or 7 years ofsecurity-related experience or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
