Allied Universal® is seeking a part-time Security Officer Screening Coordinator in West Palm Beach, FL. You will provide customer service to visitors and staff, perform screening of individuals and belongings, verify access, and respond to incidents while patrolling entry points and perimeters.

The role requires at least three years in security, law enforcement, or military, or a college degree. A guard card is required with a background check and drug screening as conditions of employment.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, surrounding areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and members of the public by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures, identifying prohibited or unauthorized items for appropriate follow-up.
• Verify access credentials, direct visitors to designated areas, and maintain orderly entry and screening processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, surrounding areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
