Job summary

Allied Universal in Bridgeville, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer to guard our clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and help maintain a safe environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role offers flexible evening shifts Fri and Sat 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM with pay of $17.00 per hour. A high school diploma and baseline background check are required, and applicants must be 18+ or 21+ if armed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet with ease.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri - 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat - 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, contractor check-in requirements, and vehicle entry documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, and incident records; issue and collect visitor badges, keys, and other authorized access items as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
