As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Credential Audit in Bronx, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 / Hour

DayTimeFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures at a healthcare location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification as required, and direct guests to appropriate areas in accordance with facility policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, maintain visitor logs and related documentation, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front entrance activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security‑related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
