• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control, and facility rules while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
