Allied Universal is seeking a Part‑Time Security Guard for a healthcare site in Columbia, SC. You will provide patient and visitor safety, perform routine patrols, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors per site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear incident and patrol reports per site requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
