Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks subject to federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Mon11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or government personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with location procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.

• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate security-related observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
