Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Drug screen required as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, clear communication to site contacts and responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and shift activity accurately and support emergency response when needed.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized entry attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activity accurately, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
