Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Newnan, GA. You will patrol manufacturing and industrial locations, deter unauthorized activity, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor management procedures, and reporting access concerns per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

$15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
