Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Site Observation in Savannah, GA. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to protect customers across manufacturing and industrial sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the site to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
