Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in line with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a distribution location.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for access; issue visitor badges and maintain records.
• Monitor entry/exit points, vehicle gates, and loading areas to deter unauthorized entry and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter; document observations and incidents.

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a distribution location.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for access to restricted areas; issue visitor badges and maintain accurate access records.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and loading area access to help deter unauthorized entry and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas while documenting security-related observations and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
