Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, perimeter areas, and designated restricted locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Prepare accurate reports and shift documentation regarding access activity, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.


• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.


• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
