Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, the business, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unauthorized access, unusual activity, or security-related concerns.
• Support a professional, customer-focused environment while helping to deter unauthorized entry and protecting confidential operations and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
