Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time security professional to provide customer service to guests, visitors and staff, carry out security procedures, respond to incidents, and conduct regular patrols of resort buildings, guest areas, parking areas, and surrounding property.

You will monitor access points, report unusual conditions, document incidents, and communicate with site management.

Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of resort buildings, guest areas, parking areas, and the surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
