Allied Universal in Fernandina Beach, FL, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Systems Driver. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and options to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
