Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Authorization Driver in Fernandina Beach, FL. This role offers fixed hours with the option to pick up additional shifts and earn more, while providing essential access-control and customer service at a manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entries, maintaining access logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access-control concerns.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, monitoring vehicle traffic, and helping to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Authorization Driver in Fernandina Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 04:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
