Qualifications

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and required reports.
• Conduct regular patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report hazards.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters and site activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
