Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, trailer, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and traffic for visitors, employees, and deliveries.
• Document observations and incidents in required reports and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, trailer, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
