As a Security Officer Part Time Badge Administration in Spokane, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Pay Rate: $21.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail location visitors, customers, and personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at designated entrances, verifying credentials, directing authorized individuals, and documenting visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned retail areas, entrances, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for access activity, incidents, deliveries, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
