As a Security Officer Part Time Access Operations in Spokane, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Pay Rate: $20.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and control access for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records, issue access credentials as directed, and report access irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
