Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Entry Control Security Officer in Spokane, WA. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and deliveries on a logistics and distribution site.

Shifts are set for Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with a pay rate of $20.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at access-control procedures and site policies.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers; verify credentials and maintain required access records.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures, including documenting trailer, package, and delivery information as required.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
