Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Dispatch Security Officer in Saint Paul, MN. You will coordinate security communications, monitor alarms and access activity, document incidents, and support timely responses to site needs in a healthcare location.

This role offers a flexible schedule with DayTime and Night shifts, opportunities to claim additional shifts, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience required.
• Alarm panels experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge systems experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures in a healthcare location.
• Monitor and coordinate calls, alarms, radio traffic, and service requests; dispatch personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly; document details and notify relevant personnel.
• Maintain dispatch logs and shift communications per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $24.21 / Hour

DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and service requests, dispatching appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating updates to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Coordinate regular and random patrol activity around the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and support facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
