Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Dismounted Patrol) in Saint Paul, MN. You will provide customer service, patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The schedule is flexible with a shift-based DayTime window and Claim a Shift platform for additional opportunities. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check conducted per laws and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, office, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate findings to leadership and site contacts.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, office, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
