Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Panel Driver in Saint Paul, MN. You will safeguard clients in healthcare locations, monitor access, patrol grounds, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism while maintaining a welcoming service mindset.

This role offers a flexible weekend schedule (Sat-Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and access to Allied Universal’s driver policy, with opportunities to learn, earn more via the shift-claiming app, and grow within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and driving history per policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document security events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility, grounds, and perimeter.

As a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position follows Allied Universal driver policy requirements and offers the opportunity to respond to security-related needs with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity in a caring, people-first culture.

Candidate Requirements:

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related events in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
