Allied Universal in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Part-Time Dispatch Security Officer to protect clients across diverse settings. You will coordinate communications, monitor systems, and document incidents while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at an administrative office location.
• Receive and prioritize calls, alarms, and service requests; dispatch appropriate personnel and communicate incident details clearly and professionally.
• Monitor communication systems, access activity, and surveillance equipment as assigned, and document relevant events in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift records while supporting regular and random patrol activity around the property and perimeter.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Tue 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Wed 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Thur 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Fri 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Receive and prioritize calls, alarms, and service requests; dispatch appropriate personnel and communicate incident details clearly and professionally.
• Monitor communication systems, access activity, and/or surveillance equipment as assigned, and document relevant events in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift records while supporting regular and random patrol activity around the property and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
