Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Coordinator in Montgomery, AL. The role provides reliable hours at an assigned site with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts and earn more through our scheduling platform.

You will coordinate dispatch for alarms, access control, and incidents, while maintaining logs and supporting property management. A minimum of 2 years security experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, and other communications systems; dispatch appropriate personnel and document activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor information, and shift-related records while communicating timely updates to relevant personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity that may require follow-up.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Coordination in Montgomery, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
