The role offers a flexible weekend schedule with reliable shifts and opportunities to engage in a dynamic logistics and distribution setting. Prior security or badge experience is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigations will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and direct authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation per site procedures.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or team members by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel and deliveries to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
