As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing badge access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and documenting security-related activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thur: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and document access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to visitors, deliveries, incidents, and security-related procedures in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
