Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local laws.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry/exit points, verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor access.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records and issue/retrieve access credentials.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns, notifying site contacts and leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry and exit points, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery driver or contractor access in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records, issuing and retrieving access credentials as directed.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
