Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Badge Management in Indianola, MS. You will protect client sites by verifying badges, controlling access, monitoring entry points, and providing professional customer service on a dynamic, distribution-focused site.

This role offers a flexible Friday and Saturday night schedule, competitive pay of $14 per hour, and the opportunity to grow within a nationwide security team dedicated to integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain visitor and contractor entry records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the distribution location, supporting orderly inbound and outbound traffic flow and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, the business, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
