Job summary

Allied Universal in Orange, CA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer (Building Access Control). You will monitor tenants, visitors and property, conduct patrols, manage access points, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This role offers flexible scheduling via our platform and a pay rate of $22.00 per hour for part-time night/day shifts.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and Allied Universal policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Building Access Control in Orange, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to maintain a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial property areas, including buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or property-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
