Allied Universal in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site. Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background check will be conducted.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Huntington Beach, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or other stakeholders by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, waterfront‑adjacent areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity to help identify and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security‑related issues.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
