Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Pacific Palisades, CA. You will provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients, and perform patrols to deter incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

You'll monitor access points, respond to incidents calmly, and document activities in logs and shift communications. This role offers flexible day schedules and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
