Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Compton, CA. You will patrol commercial real estate locations, maintain a visible presence, and deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

You must hold a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent. The role includes night shifts and driving responsibilities in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property areas, including building perimeters, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading docks, and common spaces, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access concerns or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and property representatives.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
