Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Badge Systems Operator in New Castle, DE. You will manage visitor access, badge issuance, and monitor alarm panels while delivering excellent customer service.

Shifts are Thur-Fri-Sat 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with opportunities to grow through our Claim a Shift platform. A background check and compliance with company policies are required.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business location, perimeter, and access-control areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
