Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Control access to warehouse, loading dock, office, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; help to deter unauthorized entry and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas; observe and report unusual activity, damaged access points, and other security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
