• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents and document activities; notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity or access concerns.
• Maintain records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other security events per site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or access-control concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related events in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
