Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, appointments, and authorization.
• Monitor entry/exit points, vehicle traffic, and access-control systems; maintain log records.
• Respond to access-control issues and incidents in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $17.56 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, appointments, and authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and access-control systems; maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident logs.
• Respond to access-control issues, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
