Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Perimeter Patrol in Greenville, SC. You will monitor secured areas, conduct armed patrols, manage access control, and provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule, with shift options daytime evenings, and opportunities to grow within a leading North American security provider. A valid armed guard license and prior security experience are preferred.

You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control and badge-related activities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have three or more years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
