Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Entrance Operations Security Officer in Greenville, SC. You will provide protective security, manage access points, and patrol facilities at an aerospace/defense site while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires an armed license, 3+ years in security or related fields, and a valid driver’s license. Full-time schedule with pay of $22.00/hour is provided with benefits and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner; coordinate with responders when needed.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to leadership and client representatives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and public responders when needed.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations, policy violations, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
