Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Patrol Security Officer in Greenville, SC. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and contractors at an aerospace/defense site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to report unusual activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as directed by site procedures; document activity.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and observations in line with procedures.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
