Allied Universal in Greenville, SC is seeking a Part Time Armed Security Officer for perimeter patrols. You will monitor facilities, conduct access control, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This role requires an armed guard card/license, 3+ years in security or related fields, and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will undergo background checks and a drug screen, with shifts including 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and a pay rate of $22

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas at3 aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have three or more years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
