Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Lillington, NC. You will conduct armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns while delivering professional customer service.

A valid driver’s license, minimum age 21, a high school diploma, and background checks are required. The role offers flexible day schedules and opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific policies, government facility procedures, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity and facility concerns through established channels.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal procedures, and site-specific post orders.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific policies, government facility procedures, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance as appropriate.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns through established channels.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal procedures, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
