Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner while coordinating with hospital personnel and first responders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas.
• Complete detailed reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and first responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
