Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology‑focused facilities, office areas, parking locations, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site policies, and document relevant observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while following Allied Universal and client security‑related policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
