Allied Universal in Greenville, SC seeks a Part Time Armed Security Officer to protect people and property at an aerospace/defense location. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication.

This role offers flexible scheduling with evening shifts and the opportunity to advance within a dynamic, supportive team. A minimum of 3 years security experience and a high school diploma are required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for entry into restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
