Allied Universal in Elk River, MN is seeking a part-time Security Officer for unarmed patrol duties across healthcare facilities and other sites. The role offers a flexible schedule and a pay rate of $27.94 per hour, with opportunities to learn and grow while serving our clients and communities.

You will provide customer service, monitor access points, respond to incidents, complete logs and reports, and maintain a professional presence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• License requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures while maintaining a professional presence and respecting patient privacy.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other security‑related documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
