Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner compliant with law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time in Saint Paul, MN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.48 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, supporting an orderly environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
