As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and document access‑related activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
